How to set up your profile, change your photo and username, save your shipping address, and manage how you sign in.

How To Change Your Profile Photo

1. Open the account menu by pressing your profile photo in the top bar, then press Settings.
2. Choose Profile.
3. If you already have a photo, press it and confirm you want to remove it.
4. Press the + box, or drag an image onto it, and choose a photo. Images can be up to 20MB.
5. Wait for the upload to finish, then press Save.

Photos aren't cropped, so a square image centered on your face or logo looks best. Your photo shows on your profile, your listings, your messages and your reviews.

How To Edit Your Profile

Your profile is your shop. Buyers look at it before they buy, so a photo and a short bio go a long way.

1. Go to Settings > Profile.
2. Update your Username, First Name, Last Name or Bio.
3. Turn on Show Name On Profile if you want your first and last name shown under your username. Your name is never shown publicly unless you turn this on.
4. Press Save.

To see your profile the way other members do, open the account menu and press View Store.

Changing Your Username

Usernames are 2 to 30 characters, using only letters, numbers, periods and underscores, and each one is unique. When you change yours, your profile link changes too, so old links to your profile stop working.

What Members See On Your Profile

Your photo and username, your name if you've chosen to show it, your Verified badge once you've verified with Stripe, your live, sold and Vault gear, your bio, followers and join date, and your reviews as a seller and as a buyer.

How To Add Or Change Your Address

Your default address is used at checkout and when you set up a shipping policy. Paintball Vault ships within the United States only.

1. Go to Settings > Addresses.
2. Start typing in the Add An Address box and pick your address from the suggestions.
3. Check the details. Full Name should be the first and last name of the person receiving packages, since carriers require it. Add an Apt or Unit number if your building has one.
4. Turn on Save As Default Address to use it automatically at checkout.
5. Press Save Address.

Every address is checked with the carrier when you save it. If it can't be verified, or it needs an apartment or unit number, you'll be told what to fix.

To change your default, press the address you want under Saved Addresses, turn on Save As Default Address, and save.

If an address is used by one of your shipping policies, editing it changes where that policy ships from too.

How To Change Or Reset Your Password

To change it while signed in: go to Settings > Password, enter your new password twice, and press Save.

If you forgot it:

1. Press Sign In in the top bar, then Password Reset.
2. Enter your email address and press Send Reset Code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and press Verify Code.
4. Choose a new password, at least 8 characters, and press Reset Password.

If you signed up with Google or Discord, there's no password to reset. Sign in with that provider instead.

How To Sign In With Google Or Discord

1. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts.
2. Press Connect next to Google or Discord and approve the connection.

From then on you can sign in with that provider or your email and password. Press Disconnect to unlink one. You always need at least one way to sign in, so you can't disconnect the only one you have.

Creating An Account

1. Press Sign In in the top bar, then Create An Account.
2. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Discord, or enter a Username, E-Mail and Password (at least 8 characters) and turn on I Agree To The Terms And Conditions.
3. Press Sign Up. If you used email, enter the 6-digit code we send you to confirm your account.

Didn't get the code? Check your spam folder. To enter it later, press Sign In, then Verify Code.

Installing The App

Install Paintball Vault on your phone for faster loading, push notifications and a Home Screen icon.

• iPhone and iPad: open Paintball Vault in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
• Android, and Chrome or Edge on desktop: go to Settings and press Install App.

Open it from your Home Screen, then turn on notifications.

Closing Your Account

To close your account, contact us and our team will do it for you. A closed account can't sign in, its profile is hidden, and its live listings are taken down. See our Privacy Policy for how account data is kept.
