Reviews

How buyers review an order, what happens if you don't, how disputes work, and how reviews show up on your profile.

How Reviews Work

Every delivered order ends with a review from the buyer. The review does two jobs: it tells other members how the sale went, and it releases the seller's payment. Only buyers review orders. Sellers can't review buyers or reply to a review.

Leaving A Review

When your whole order has been delivered, you'll get an email and a push asking for a review. You have 48 hours.

  1. Open Buying from the account menu and press Submit A Review on the order.
  2. Choose an Overall Rating: negative, neutral or positive.
  3. Optionally, rate Shipping Speed, Packaging Quality, Product(s) As Described and Communication, and add a Comment.
  4. Press Submit Review.

Inspect your gear before you review. Once the review is in, the seller is paid and the order is complete.

What If I Don't Leave A Review?

If you haven't reviewed within 48 hours of delivery, the order is automatically given a positive review and the seller is paid.

Reporting A Problem With A Dispute

If the gear arrived damaged, doesn't match the listing, doesn't work or may not be authentic, turn on Submit A Dispute when you review. That holds the seller's payment while we look into it.

Message the seller from the order to explain what's wrong, and contact us with photos if you can't resolve it together. See Cancellations & Refunds for what's eligible for a refund.

Your Reviews

Open Reviews from the account menu to see every review you've received, split into As seller and As buyer. The same reviews show on your public profile, and your review count is shown next to your profile photo.

Getting Better Reviews As A Seller

  • Accept and ship quickly. Shipping speed is the first thing buyers rate.
  • Pack gear so it can't move, and use the box your shipping policy describes.
  • Describe condition honestly, with photos of any wear.
  • Answer messages promptly.
